About Natalie

Transformational enterprise leader, strategist and builder of Africa's human capital story.

Fifteen-plus years across corporate leadership, management consulting and entrepreneurship, all in service of one belief: that leadership, talent, strategy and culture are the four levers of every organisation's success.

The success of any business or organisation comes down to the quality of its leadership, the capability of its people and talent, the execution of a well-formulated strategy, and the strength of its culture. I have spent the last fifteen-plus years working at the intersection of all four, helping organisations turn ambition into results.

I am a transformational enterprise leader, strategist and consultant with over fifteen years leading enterprise-wide transformation, talent strategy, leadership development and culture change across complex, multi-geography organisations spanning Africa and North America. I have led organisational diagnostics, designed and implemented enterprise-wide people and strategy frameworks, and embedded the practices, recruitment, performance management, succession planning and leadership development, that turn strategic intent into everyday organisational reality. My style blends academic frameworks and research with an approach that is warm, energetic and engaging, so the work lands with rigour and stays with the room.

I currently serve as Founding Programme Director and organisational leader at RIKA Africa, where I lead a continent-wide leadership development programme spanning 18 countries, 15 sectors and 81 organisations, with roughly 29% of alumni promoted within 18 months of completion. I also founded the RIKA Africa Leadership Summit, which now convenes 500+ CEOs, policymakers and global faculty each year for a candid conversation on the future of work and human capital in Africa. Before RIKA, I led culture transformation and employee experience for the Mastercard Foundation across eight African countries and Canada, and held senior talent, consulting and HR leadership roles at Living Goods, Deloitte East Africa, Safaricom and Human Performance Dynamics Africa.

Across every seat, corporate and entrepreneurial, the throughline has stayed the same: the ability to see an organisation whole, its leadership, its people, its strategy and its culture, and to design the change that makes all four work together. For the organisations and leaders I partner with, that means a strategist who can diagnose what is really happening, a builder who has scaled an institution from the ground up, and a partner who turns strategy into the kind of measurable, human action that builds belonging, accountability and lasting performance.

Organisations I have worked with

Two Vantage Points

Corporate discipline. Entrepreneurial instinct.

The Corporate Seat

Roles at Safaricom, Deloitte East Africa, Living Goods and the Mastercard Foundation gave me the discipline of enterprise-scale change management, board-level reporting, multi-country programme governance and rigorous, evidence-based people strategy, tested across some of Africa's most complex organisations.

The Builder's Seat

Founding and scaling RIKA Africa, and sitting on the board of Footprints Press, taught me what it takes to build an institution and a brand from first principles: resourcefulness, storytelling, and the ability to make a case for culture and people investment when there is no established playbook to follow.
