Nairobi 5453ft, published through Footprints Press, is a photographic and narrative love letter to Nairobi, a city sitting 5,453 feet above sea level and carrying an equally elevated sense of ambition, culture and possibility. The book brings together photography, essays and reflection to tell the story of a city, and by extension a continent, that is too often narrated by outsiders.
The project sits at the intersection of everything I care about professionally: storytelling, African identity, and the belief that how we frame a place shapes how the world, and the people who live there, imagine what is possible within it.
